Counting the cost of being a landlord

Taxes, agent fees and the price of repairs are just some of the factors that would-be property investors should take into account

While some residential landlords are cash buyers, others will finance their investment via a buy-to-let mortgage. In such cases, the biggest cost the landlord will face is financing the property.
