TDs moot single slot vote plan

TDs have drawn up plans to have a single slot for Dáil votes every day to avoid endless rushing into the chamber.

Under the current system, there are Dáil votes occurring throughout the day, which can disrupt committee work. They are also an issue for TDs with young families, who have to hang around late at night.
