An Independent TD has defended his record after being accused of "objecting to everything" by Minister for Rural Affairs Michael Ring.

Cork South West TD Michael Collins opposed a planned plastics factory in Skibbereen, which promised 40 jobs, and a kelp harvesting project in Bantry Bay, which would have delivered 60 more.
