Tánaiste contacted Varadkar over tax break plan and truckers’ lobby slated transport minister

Taoiseach Leo Varadkar was contacted on his personal email account by Tánaiste Simon Coveney about giving a tax break to people who donate to sports bodies.

Emails from Varadkar’s private account, released to The Sunday Business Post, also reveal how road hauliers expressed anger at Minister for Transport Shane Ross, saying he had “no comprehension as to what is good for Ireland”.
