Ross diverts greenway funding to ‘Boxer’ Moran’s turf
Moran said that Ross’ eyes were opened when he saw the greenway projects for himself
Minister for Transport Shane Ross gave a €1 million grant to greenways in the constituency of Independent Alliance colleague Kevin ‘Boxer’ Moran.
He took the money from greenway projects in Kerry and Galway which have been halted for more than two years due to opposition from local landowners.
These projects will now have to reapply for their funding under the new greenways strategy which is being drawn up by the Department of Transport.
