Senior ministers including Varadkar, Fitzgerald and Coveney may be creating security risk

Seven senior ministers have admitted to using personal email accounts to receive emails for official government, party and constituency business.

Ministers Frances Fitzgerald, Leo Varadkar, Simon Harris, Simon Coveney, Mary Mitchell O’Connor, Heather Humphreys and Michael Creed all said they have used personal email accounts for work purposes, in response to a recent parliamentary question.

Three ministers of state, David Stanton, Seán Kyne and Patrick O’Donovan, also admitted they use private email accounts....
