Leo Varadkar’s press adviser told the new Taoiseach’s parents to say he is good at dealing with the media in an interview with RTÉ.

In raw footage of an interview with Ashok and Miriam Varadkar last week, Nick Miller, a senior adviser to Varadkar who is set to become government press secretary, can be overheard asking them to redo an answer to a question about the media.
