In the latest Post Podcast, Sunday Business Post Public Affairs Editor Mary Regan and Political Correspondent Hugh O'Connell discuss the presidential election, which will now take place in October after Sinn Féin confirmed at the weekend that it would be running a candidate against Michael D Higgins.

They look at the potential Sinn Féin runners, and talk about the other independent candidates who could seek endorsements to join the race. They also assess the campaigning challenges for Higgins, the first incumbent to face an election since 1966.
