Paul Gogarty is no longer in the Green Party, but he says he is still “green-minded”. He won a seat in the Dublin Mid-West constituency for the party in 2002 and 2007, but his vote was wiped out in 2011 after his party’s time in government with Fianna Fáil.

Now his canvassing team say that it’s “Paul for the Dáil” again, but this time as a candidate for the Independent Alliance....
