Minister for Finance Michael Noonan is to strenuously dispute adverse findings against him when a report by TDs into Nama’s controversial sale of Project Eagle is published next week.

The Dáil’s public accounts committee’s report will state that it was “procedurally inappropriate” for Noonan to meet with representatives from the US vulture fund Cerberus the day before the bidding for Nama’s Northern property portfolio was closed....
