Michael Healy Rae discharged from hospital after cow attack

Independent TD suffered broken ribs on farm

Independent TD Michael Healy-Rae has been discharged from hospital after he was injured while working with cattle.

Healy-Rae was suffered several fractured ribs when he was attacked by a cow but managed to escape from the animal on Sunday.

Today Healy-Rae released a statement to say he was being released from Cork University Hospital.
