Last week, the banking inquiry was all about the rockstar economist who wears sunglasses in February. “David McWilliams tells us he told us so about banking crisis” read the tweet by the Irish Times business account. Last Thursday’s hearing ran an hour over time because McWilliams had much to say about why he got it right (referencing many of the articles he wrote here).
