Independent TD Michael Lowry has got a constituency deal for a new “patient hotel” and extra nurses for his local hospital after private meetings with Minister for Health Simon Harris.

Taoiseach Enda Kenny has denied that there is any deal with Lowry to underpin his support for the minority government.
