Legal costs for banking inquiry witnesses capped at €10,000
Witnesses scheduled to appear at the upcoming inquiry into the banking crisis will have their legal costs capped at €10,000.
According to new guidelines, banking inquiry witnesses will only be able to claim back the cost of hiring a barrister or solicitor if their good name could be questioned during a hearing.
