Labour’s EU election posters ‘resemble Russian flag’
The party’s Cork East TD Sean Sherlock raised the matter at the parliamentary Labour party (PLP) meeting last week
Labour TD Sean Sherlock has questioned the design of his party’s forthcoming European election poster – which looks like the Russian national flag.
The backgrounds on a campaign billboard for its Dublin candidate Alex White and a Twitter banner for its Ireland South candidate Sheila Nunan bear a striking resemblance to the flag of the Russian Federation.
Labour is also running former TD Dominic Hannigan in Midlands North West.
