Just one business got heat pump grant under scheme with €300m in funding

Just one business has got a grant to reduce its carbon emissions under a new €300 million government scheme.

The Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI) launched a grant scheme last September to cover 30 per cent of the cost of installing heat pumps in business premises. But it has confirmed that there have been just three applications since then, with one grant awarded to the value of €13,000.
