Humphreys’ renamed department may be in line for third name change

Leinster House source reveals name “might be tweaked” again

Minister Heather Humphreys’ department has undergone its second name change in less than two months and could be changed for a third time.

Fianna Fáil has described the situation as an “absolute farce” after it emerged last week that the Department of Regional Affairs, Rural Affairs, Arts and the Gaeltacht would now be known as the Department of Arts, Heritage and Regional, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs.
