Independent TD Michael Healy-Rae has missed over 90 per cent of Dáil votes on Thursdays – at a time when he has constituency clinics running in Kerry.
He was at the centre of controversy last week when he was accused of trying to delay the passage of legislation to impose an automatic driving ban on all convicted drink drivers.
