Independet Alliance minister Shane Ross has contacted senior Department of Justice officials to get updates on the plan to reopen Stepaside Garda station in his constituency.

New emails also show how Minister for Justice Charlie Flanagan sought to assure Ross about the station reopening in letters drafted by department officials.
