Fine Gael’s political director Alan Holmes stepping down

Holmes’s surprise departure comes just four months before the local and European elections

Fine Gael’s political director Alan Holmes is stepping down after less than 18 months in the role.

"Alan Holmes has completed his contract as Fine Gael's Political Director and he now returns to his financial services career,” a Fine Gael spokesman said in a brief statement this morning. "Fine Gael thanks Alan for his work with the party and look forward to continuing to work with him in a voluntary capacity in the future."...
