FG insists no secret side deals with independents

Fine Gael has insisted there are no side deals with independent TDs beyond what’s already contained in the programme for government.

During the election, Taoiseach Enda Kenny committed to publishing any deals that his party negotiated with independent TDs or other parties. But his spokesperson has insisted that everything agreed with the Independent Alliance and independent TDs Denis Naughten and Katherine Zappone is contained in the programme for government.
