There is one question Fine Gaelers have been asking a lot in recent months: “When’s he going?” Since the party’s disastrous 26-seat loss in last February’s general election, Enda Kenny’s future has been the subject of considerable internal debate.

No one in Fine Gael knows the answer to the question other than that it will be, as Kenny has said publicly, before the next election....
