FF TDs absent from meeting about Dáil’s mid-term break

Fianna Fáil TDs missed the crucial cross-party meeting on the Dáil’s controversial mid-term break.

The party leader, Micheál Martin, later caused uproar in the Dáil chamber when he overturned the decision to take this week off by forcing a vote on the matter. The result is that the Dáil will now sit this Wednesday and Thursday.
