Fine Gael and Fianna Fáil have this evening reached an agreement on a deal to facilitate the formation of a minority government led by Enda Kenny and his party.

Nine weeks to the day since the general election, negotiating teams from both parties have reached an agreement that will allow Fine Gael to form a minority government provided it can secure support from several independent TDs.
