Decision time. After hours of debates on radio and television, countless column inches in the newspapers, thousands of canvasses and millions of euro, in five days the politicians will fall silent and the people will have their say.

At the start, they said: a short campaign, the shortest ever. Doesn’t feel like that now, does it?
