Renua leader Lucinda Creighton has released a letter from her solicitors confirming that she paid them legal fees in a defamation action taken against her by the developer Michael O’Flynn.

Creighton did so in response to what her spokesman described as a “ropey piece of dirty tricks” that saw an anonymous complaint made on February 5 about the matter to the Standards in Public Office (SIPO).
