Dessie Ellis wants Ballymun councillor expelled

Sinn Féin to consider disciplinary action over dispute between north Dublin representatives; Ellis has written legal letter after party row spills over at Ballymun Tidy Towns meeting

Sinn Féin TD Dessie Ellis has called on the party to expel one of its councillors with whom he has been in a long-running dispute.

Ellis, a TD for Dublin North-West, said that Sinn Féin had failed to deal with issues surrounding the conduct of Ballymun councillor Noeleen Reilly, who has herself filed several complaints against Ellis.
