A young Dublin singer has landed one of the biggest awards for emerging musicians in Europe. Soprano Aoife Gibney, 23, a student at DIT Conservatory and from Clonsilla, was named winner of the RDS Music Bursary of €15,000 from a panel that included eight other major winners at the recent ESB Feis Ceoil.
