Visual revamp gives new Audi Sportback a lift

Audi has taken a scalpel to its five-door and the results are hugely impressive

The Audi RS 7 Sportback has a much better-looking exterior to its predecessor while the interior oozes quality

The first time Audi gave its sleek A7 Sportback the RS treatment, it produced a five-door rocket-ship that was quick enough to make rivals such as the Porsche Panamera Turbo S and Mercedes-AMG CLS 63 sweat a little. Despite undeniably phenomenal performance, its looks were somewhat understated. This appealed to some but it simply lacked presence, especially alongside its more visually impressive RS 6 sibling.
