Dr Edward Haughey, the multimillionaire owner of Norbrook Pharmaceuticals, was once chased around his vast Ballyedmond estate by one of his employees brandishing a pitchfork.
The estate, which borders the northern stretch of Carlingford Lough in Co Down, is home to Haughey’s impressive collection of sports cars, herds of deer, flocks of pheasants and various other pedigree livestock.
