Two out of five Irish people skip hot evening meals to save time

More than 70% of people say modern life is impacting on cooking habits

Over 70 per cent of those questioned in a new survey claim they are time poor in the evenings, with many too busy to prepare a hot meal.

Almost all those who took part said they would like a warm dinner on a winter's night – but almost half say they don't bother because they don't have time to prepare them.
