A partnership between Cork’s Midleton Distillery and the Jacob’s Creek winery has produced a new offering: Jacob’s Creek Double Barrel Cabernet Sauvignon, aged in Irish whiskey casks. The wine will be paired with three courses at an intimate dinner in Sophie’s Restaurant at the Dean Hotel on Tuesday, October 3, with expertise on hand from winemaker Trina Smith.
