Cairde Sligo Arts Festival runs until Saturday, featuring music in unusual locations such as seaside cafés and even the Rose of Inisfree boat on Sligo’s Lough Gill, as well as dance, art, theatre and literature. Highlights include performances from Lisa O’Neill and Seamus Fogarty, readings from author Sinéad Gleeson and new work from theatre company Brokentalkers, exploring the experiences of new communities in Ireland.
