If there is a part two of Pat Leahy’s Independents’ Day? (RTÉ One) it might come in the immediate run up to the general election or shortly afterwards, as parties in the Dáil thrash about trying to preserve their dignity while behaving like hucksters (or worse) selling their wares to potential political allies.
That programme’s working title might well take the form of another pun – The War of...
