Ten Leonardo da Vinci drawings coming to the National Gallery of Ireland

Studies from the genius to be loaned by the Royal Collection from early May

The selected drawings show the various interest of the artist, from painting and sculpture to engineering, zoology, botany, mapmaking and anatomy. His use of different media – pen and ink, red and black chalks, watercolour and metalpoint are also displayed in these drawings.
