Ford’s newest and biggest SUV (in this part of the world in any case) could be love at first sight for Irish motorists attracted to the genre by image and prestige. The Edge’s design is solid, chunky and, especially in the higher Sport trim level pictured here, blows many of its more homogenised rivals out of the water, aesthetically at least.
