What do RTE it-boy Darren Kennedy and feted mountaineer George Mallory have in common? Both have scaled heights wearing tweeds.

Kennedy has been going strong for the top in the ten years since he began carving out a media career as an unpaid television runner, but lately he’s been climbing actual heights – Wicklow’s Sugarloaf, to be exact.
