Shane Holland Design – Ruray Lights
Designer Shane Holland was researching a public sculpture commission in Co Down when he discovered the legend of Tonn Ruraigh. A couple of months later, he found himself in his workshop, creating a “twisted, sculptural wave shape”.
“I was quite taken with it, so I made it out of very thin [aluminium] material, and then used linear LED strips to create a light,” Holland says.
