The new Bentley Flying Spur V8: a lot of car for a lot of money

We’re not sure how, but this near-€300,000 super saloon from Bentley manages to be subtle. That’s in spite of a large and very shiny radiator grille, the not-so-common presence of the Bentley badge and a burble from the twin exhausts that betrays the presence of a V8 petrol engine under the long bonnet.

And yet, in driving it from the Charles Hurst Bentley showroom in Belfast, via the coast road...
