RTE Prime Time probe claims there are serious flaws in vehicle checks

Irish motorists may be getting a clean bill of health from the NCT – even though their vehicles are defective, an RTE Prime Time investigation has claimed

'Testing the Limits' puts a number of elements of the NCT under the spotlight, including the test carried out on shock absorbers.

Shock absorbers are critical to road safety as they keep the tyres in contact with the road when driving on uneven surfaces or when cornering.
