Even with 152 years on the clock, famed Donegal outfitter Magee 1866 is not resting on its laurels. Instead, it’s eyeing a worldwide expansion, writes Elaine Prendeville

Reinventing a 152-year-old, fifth generation business is no mean feat, but that’s exactly what’s taking place, and at a rapid pace, at the Magee 1866 headquarters. The Donegal outfitter, long known for its gentleman’s tweeds, is on course to become a world-conquering lifestyle brand, encompassing menswear, womenswear, a home collection, designer collaborations, and more. Its design and retail director Charlotte Temple is the woman leading the charge.
