You wait years for new restaurants in south Dublin’s swankiest neighbourhoods, then three come along at once. In Glasthule, the Cookbook Café and Carluccios have been up and running for a few months, and now Sandycove has a new place to eat in the form of Fish Shack Café.

It’s a bright, welcoming space on Martello Terrace, with a few tables out front, from where you can take in the view....
