Dublin Chinese New Year festival

There are some interesting food events happening as part of this year’s Dublin Chinese New Year festival, which began yesterday.

On February 2, learn how to make the perfect hot pot at Lao restaurant on Parnell Street (tickets €20, 6.30pm to 8.30pm), and on February 9, take tea at the National Botanic Gardens, where a traditional Chinese tea ceremony takes place from 2pm to 3.30pm. The full programme of events is at dublinchinesenewyear.com.
