I won an Emmy for drawing Peter Rabbit. There’s speed and action and villains: it’s a top-notch show.

When I started reading the script for Octonauts, I wasted a lot of time googling the facts it pulls up. If it works for adults, it will work for kids.

As a director [on Octonauts] you don’t draw that much, you doodle here and there. I’m definitely more of a hands-on person....
