A farmer’s son from the Cooley peninsula in Co Louth, Rob Kearney grew up playing Gaelic football. His rugby career began when he attended Clongowes Wood College in Kildare. The 29-year-old is Ireland’s full-back, playing alongside his younger brother Dave. He also plays for UCD and Leinster. His life is parodied at @boringkearneys
