Award-winning jewellery designer Maria Parsons left Rathmines Tech in Dublin without the Leaving Cert, yet she never doubted her creative calling. She finally reached her goal of studying at NCAD in what she says were her “mature years”, after a year at the Bray Institute of Further Education.
