Deirdre Moynihan studied electrical engineering at UCC, but always knew she wanted to be a professional classical singer. Hailing from Bishopstown in Cork, she is one of seven children and studied violin from the age of eight before turning her attention to singing. She will perform in the Great Music in Irish Houses festival, which takes place from June 7 to 12 in Dublin. See for more details.
