Paul McGinley is one of Ireland’s most successful golfers, having captained the winning European Ryder Cup team last year. He grew up in Rathfarnham in Dublin, and began taking his golfing career seriously when a knee injury stopped him from playing Gaelic football. Next year, he turns 50 and will lead the Irish golf team at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
