It is said that the ghost of a one-eyed woman haunts the sewers and secret passageways under and around the city of Dublin. Reports of her spectral form in filthy rags came from dawn-breaking dustmen in the laneways off Dame Street, from brawlers outside the Brazen Head and from the stoners of Stoneybatter.
None of these were deemed credible witnesses, so her manifestation was still rumour, but her voice, her voice has travelled the length...
