You may have heard actor and writer Emmet Kirwan talking on the radio this week about Heartbreak, a spoken-word narrative about women in Ireland which went viral when it was released in video form by his film-maker collaborator, Dave Tynan. The timing for the video’s release couldn’t have been more perfect. Kirwan has just begun a new tour of Dublin Oldschool, a similarly styled performance piece about addiction and homelessness.
